Qin Dynasty

The Qin created the first fully united state by enforcing strict Legalist rules across the land, and its founding ruler—known as the First Emperor—not only ordered the construction of the Great Wall for defense but also had the famous Terracotta Army made for his tomb, though the whole regime collapsed just a short while later.
